Privacy Policy

Last updated: 11 October 2026

This policy explains what personal information TechDella collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have.

Who we are

TechDella (“we”, “us”, “our”) is the trading name of Tech Della Solutions LTD, a growth marketing agency registered in Nigeria, with its office at Office 7B, Yetmob Plaza, Elewure, off Akala Express, Oluyole, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. We run three websites: techdella.com, our Journal at blog.techdella.com, and TechDella Studios at studios.techdella.com. This policy covers all three sites and the forms and free tools on them.

We decide how and why your personal information is used, so Tech Della Solutions LTD is the data controller. For any privacy question or request, email hello@techdella.com.

What we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact and enquiry forms: your name, email, company, website, the services or project type you are interested in, budget and timeline ranges, and your message.
  • Growth audit and project briefs: your goals, budget range, project stage and any notes you add.
  • Newsletter, resource downloads, popups and gated tools: your email, and sometimes your first name, company and the resource or tool you used.
  • Write for us: your name, email, topic, outline and writing samples.
  • Marketing consent: whether you ticked the box to receive marketing email. It is never ticked for you.

Information collected when you submit a form

  • The page you submitted from and the page that referred you.
  • The first and latest campaign (UTM) parameters that brought you to our site, read from two of our cookies (see the cookie policy).
  • Which site the form is on and when you sent it.
  • Your IP address, used briefly for spam checks (including by Cloudflare Turnstile) and rate limits. It is not sent to our CRM.

Information collected automatically

With your consent where the law requires it, Google Analytics 4 records the pages you visit, how you got here, and basic device and browser details. On our free tool pages, Google AdSense may also collect device and browsing data to show and measure ads. If we use Google Tag Manager or Microsoft Clarity, they collect similar usage data under the same consent rules. The cookie policy lists every cookie.

Information you type into our free tools

  • Most tools run entirely in your browser. What you type does not leave your device.
  • The AI Business Name Generator and Persona Builder send what you type from our server to our AI model provider, Anthropic, to generate the result. The output is AI-generated. We do not use these inputs to identify you.
  • The On-Page SEO Checker fetches the web page address you enter from our server so it can analyze it.
  • Don’t enter confidential or sensitive personal information into a tool.

We use your information only for these purposes. Where UK or EU GDPR applies, we rely on the legal basis shown.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that process it on our behalf, under contract:

  • Startbuddi receives every form submission. It is our CRM and the platform we use to manage contacts and deals and to send all lead and marketing email.
  • Hostinger hosts our websites, including page caching.
  • Cloudflare provides Turnstile, which checks that form submissions come from a person, not a bot.
  • Google provides Analytics 4 and, on free tool pages only, AdSense and the consent banner.
  • Anthropic generates results for our AI-powered free tools.
  • Our email delivery provider sends system and admin email from our websites, such as password resets for our team.
  • Google Tag Manager and Microsoft Clarity, if we use them, under the same consent rules as Google Analytics.

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of our business.

Where your form data is stored

Our websites do not keep a permanent copy of what you send through a form. WordPress passes it straight to Startbuddi. If Startbuddi can’t be reached, the submission is held in an encrypted queue and retried. Queued submissions are deleted once delivered, and never kept longer than 14 days.

International transfers

We are based in Nigeria and work with clients and visitors around the world. Our providers may process your information outside your country, including in the United States. Where the law requires it, we rely on safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions.

How long we keep it

  • Leads and enquiries in Startbuddi: while we have a business relationship with you, or until you ask us to delete them. If there is no contact for 24 months, we delete or anonymize them.
  • Client records: for the length of the engagement and as long as tax and accounting laws require after it ends.
  • Marketing email lists: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your details.
  • Queued form deliveries: up to 14 days.
  • Analytics data: for the period set in our Google Analytics settings.
  • Cookies: for the periods listed in the cookie policy.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct information that is wrong or incomplete.
  • Delete your information.
  • Object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it.
  • Receive your information in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent at any time. This does not affect what we did before you withdrew it.
  • Complain to a data protection regulator.

To use any of these rights, email hello@techdella.com. We reply within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm your identity first. To stop marketing email, use the unsubscribe link in any email.

You can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) in Nigeria, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) in the UK, or the data protection authority in your EU country. We’d like the chance to fix the problem first, so please contact us.

US state privacy rights

If you live in California or another US state with a consumer privacy law, you may have the right to know what we collect, to access and delete it, to correct it, and not to be treated differently for using your rights.

  • We do not sell personal information.
  • On our free tool pages, Google AdSense may use cookies to show personalized ads. That can count as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. You can opt out through the consent banner on those pages.
  • We treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser as a request to opt out of sale and sharing where the law requires it.
  • We do not use sensitive personal information to infer things about you.

To make a request, email hello@techdella.com. An authorized agent can make a request for you with your signed permission.

Children

Our sites and services are for businesses. They are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has sent us personal information, email hello@techdella.com and we will delete it.

Security

We use HTTPS on all our sites, spam protection on forms, encrypted storage for queued form deliveries, and access controls for our team accounts. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and fix problems quickly.

Our sites link to other websites and platforms. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.

Changes to this policy

We will update this policy when our practices change. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will make it clear on this page.
